Last night I had an enjoyable time walking down memory lane. I went to watch a jazz concert at my alma mater. It is good to see that the class pictures are back up and in the hallways. It was always fun looking to see what people looked like back in the day while you were walking or waiting to get into a game or whatever the case might have been. The elementary band played pretty much all of the songs that I played when I was in school. They even did a super good rendering of Smoke on the Water! Since when did Deep Purple become Jazz??? :) Course I guess most woudln't have considered Meatloaf a jazz musician but, we played one of his ballads in high school jazz.
This afternoon I will be Bowling for Kids Sake. Now...i'm not much of a bowler.....but, it will be an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with some of my co-workers. Plus...I just might get to see some people from my other job as well! After I bowl it will be time to head off to see my elders. Theres always something about that time of the day that puts a smile on my face.
