Today I find myself thankful for friends and the sisters I am surrounded with. This week coming up is going to be a time of friendship and fun. My friend Karen is coming in from out of town and I haven't seen her in awhile. My friend Renee will also be coming to visit. It sure will be good to let go and act my age! I don't get to do that very often. I love the older people I find myself surrounded with but..theres not like laughing and acting your corney age! :) Last night was prayer group, which was as always good. We had started on discussing the Gospel but...then got on a tangent, which was kind of cool. I got to sit back and listen to everyone talk about community life and just absorb what they were saying. I came to the conclusion that as courageous as the sisters were to say 'yes' they perhaps have to be even more courageous to continue to say 'yes' when there are so many unknowns moving into the future.
Yesterday found me in a training for Social Security. It was definetly interesting and informative. The best part was lunch and being with the co-workers I went down with. It was a nice day all in all. We had desert shooters with our lunch. We had a good chuckle about it...the mouse was delicious!!!!! The best part was it was just enough that if you wanted to have a taste of desert but, didn't want something huge it sure fits the bill! Not to mention that they make an awesome cheesy BLT. The worst part was the rain!
