well...Its been awhile since i've done this but...thought I would put the music on winamp on shuffle and see waht message God has in it for me. So..read along and sing along as we find out......
1. Light the fire...
This is my prayer lately....that our loving father would futher revive some of the hopes and dreams i've had and light in me what was at one time dead. Slowly I can see some of those return....daring to dream again and to risk....
2. Holy Queen Enthroned Above
Thank you mother for always pointing me toward your son. Help me to see clearly where he wants me to go that I might be as willing to say yes to our fathers will for me as you were. Mother...give your willing and loving heart that I may spread it even more to those around me that I might point others to your son, even as you point me always there.
3. Sing a New Song
Thank you for the new songs that you have put in my heart. Give me courage to always sing them...not giving into the old......surrendering it fully and letting the new prevail....Help me to sing alleuia by truly walking in your light and showing the work that you've done in me.
4. City of God
Our father has done great works. No longer need I walk in darkness...but, he has made the darkness of night into the light of day. That light permeates all that I encounter and every situation I face. Nothing is beyond the reach of his redeeming light.
In the end this journey has little to do with me and so much more to do with the one who created me. I am so thankful that he is so much bigger than I am or anything that I have faced or will face in the future. I just pray that I have the courage to say 'yes' with complete surrender when God's work is done and he is ready to take me on the next step of the journey..whever that might lead....
