What a weekend!!!!! We had an awesome liturgy Sunday welcoming our new associates. I sure have been blessed this year walking with one of our newest associates and relearing what drew me toward the community from the start. And I learned a lot about God's love, mercy, and graces along the way. Gave me fuel as I move onward in my own journey. Liturgy as always was beautiful..we have gifted musicians in our midst. And of course it is always a good opportunity to catch up with friends both old and new. And got to catch up with some of my awesome wisdom figures along the way of the weekend. And the best part was seeing someone who I haven't seen in about 3 or 4 years!!!! It is hard to believe that its already been 5 years since I made my own committment. How time flies!!!
Saturday night my mom and I had gone to see the Philharmonic on the bay. It started out a beautiful evening. The music was awesome!!!! And much to my joy and probably much to the chargin of some I got in on the sing along!!! It sprinkled some but the real rain held off until the concert was almost done.
Monday evening I was blessed again as I met with a group from my parish who are looking at getting a women's group started. It was awesome seeing the fire growing in everyone. I had always wanted to see something happen but...never dreamed that there would be as much response as there seems to be. So...it is excited that new things are moving! And it will be awesome to have a faith sharing group to help hold me accountable in growth and learning and love. Yes indeed....for those who know the tripod it does the trick! Just need to get back on the consistency factor! It was also inspiring to see all the different thoughts and lives reprsented....really makes you realize that we aren't islands unto ourselves.
