Lets see...where to begin!! That is the question. When I last left my readers I was thankful to be standing on the shoulders. Well...that feeling continued. I was on retreat for a weekend at Villa Rosa...one of my all time favorite places and was blessedly rested and drawn into greater intimacy with my father and surroundings...which was a blessing. Villa Rosa has always been a place of great healing and peace for me. It also provided an opportunity to look at the blessings i've recieved over the past five years. And prayerfully I'll continue to listen and understand the application of some of those blessings disquised as tough lessons.
Saturday we celebrated St. Josephs Day with mass and renewal of commitment/vows. It is always an awesome time of remembering what drew me in and what continues to call me forth to service and love of the dear neighbor. It isn't always easy to love the dear neighbor...but, the good news is we are always in process!
Saturday was also the day we held my sister Holly's wedding shower. It was an awesome opportunity to share with her our joy for her and Ryan. Not to mention also a good opportunity to see family members we don't get to very often. All in all it was an awesome day. We also got to see a couple of friends from high school.
