Well folks...I am back from beautiful Colorado and a confrence. Colorado was beautiful! We stayed in a house up in the mountains with a beautiful view of a mountain peak. We weren't too far from Mesa Verde there. Which are some interesting Indian Cliff Dwellings...though the walk was a bit steeper than I liked. The best time was hanging out with the fam and Aunt Jo Ann and Uncle Kenny. But...before we got there we had arrived in Arizona. We drove through the painted desert and some of the various interesting rock formations. I also got to visit Bedrock City...yes, folks....Bedrock city. Yabba dabba do! Got to slide down the dinasour used as a backhoe. I even ended up in jail there... (I promise...I really didn't do it!!!) Before heading home we also got to see the great Sand Dunes. The sand was pretty toasty...but, I got to enjoy walking through the streams. :) Seeing the Grand Canyon was totally awesome!!!! Wow is all I can say...totally breath taking and gorgeous.
I was back in the office for two days and then went to a Fairweather lodge confrence. It was definetly insightful and fun. We also were treated to dinner on wednesday night at the local lodge there and it was delicious!!!! I look forward to when we'll get the PA lodge members together in our neck of the woods! :) I hope it'll be a super de duper experience for all.
