Wowser!!! It sure has been a wild ride!!!! Hold on to your hats.....
I'll start off with my sister Holly's wedding. It was a beautiful day to celebrate. Though the rain didn't quite cooperate with us. But...we dashed between the drops. The ceremony was at the parish my sisters and I grew up a part of. So...it was a nice and quiet ceremony. Musicians who sometimes do music ministry at my parish were the chosen musicians. I was blessed to be asked to do a reading and well as the blessing at the reception.BUT....,i'm not sure I can out do Holly and Julie's dance to the song 'sisters' as part of Julie's toast! Then the festivity and fun continued. We all ate, drank, were merry, and danced! The DJ even had us do a conga line through the cookie room and reminded one and all to grab a cookie. :) It was good seeing family and friends and just having fun!
Monday I started training for a new job as a phone operator for Blair. Not precisely what I thought I would be doing BUT...I think while I am waiting to see what God has yet to unfold there are many lessons I can learn and will learn. And hopefully I will find a way to make it a ministry even though all my contact will be over the phone. And so...the journey continues...sometimes as it did for the Israelities...long...wondering when or if they would reach the destination but...none the less trusting...falling...and getting up again....
