I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! My sisters came home so we had everyone together, which was excellent. Christmas Eve we went to Mass at St. Peter. It is definetly nice to know that there are some things that just do not change! Still the same hymns..same order...same languages for Silent Night. Christmas Day my Uncle Wayne came over for dinner with us. And we had some awesome gifting and pull apart bread Christmas morning..yum!!
Last night to ring in the new year we had a movie marathon. We watched Dream Girls and Wild Hogs. Both movies get 5 stars! Dream Girls for its awesome music and acting. Wild Hogs for its hilarity and pure fun. It definetly makes a good point. Sometimes rather than having everything all planned out and comfy we need to just take some time and space to let loose and live a little. Sometimes when we're too cautious we don't seize some of the opportunities in front of us that God might want us to do.
Today was a day of community. I went to Mass at OLOL. After Mass I headed out to the CLC for some visiting and lunch. Then I went to the MH, which was like Old Homes Day. I got to see Tina who I hadn't seen in ages along with Jenny. And I hadn't been up in awhile so it had been awhile since I saw anyone there.
